Skiathos island belongs to the Sporades island complex at the North Aegean Sea. Neighbouring islands are Skopelos and Alonisos.
Swimming pool – Bar area: Sun loungers with umbrellas are provided at the swimming pool area. Swimming pool is more than large enough to accommodate all guests. As pool is not supervised for children is needed adult supervision. Pool bar serving snacks, drinks and light meals.
Special interest holidays: The island is very good for the very active i.e. walking through the forest and around the tip of Kanapitsa. A visit to the Monasteries is a must, as are the numerous boat trips around the island and out to the beautiful Marine Park. Boat trips are organised for visits to the neighbouring island Skopelos and Alonissos and capital city of Greece Athens.
Further details: Achladies beach is a short walk of 2 minutes. You can find watersports, bars, restaurants, tavernas, supermarkets and water taxi to Skiathos town which is within walking distance (approx. 20 minutes). Bus stop no 9 is 50 meters from the gate of Villa Apollon. In Skiathos town you can find many bards, clubs, tavernas to suite all. There are many trendy cafes bars on the harbour front that get very busy during the summer. If you want to relax on the cushions in a very chic and cosmopolitan atmosphere, then head to steps of the old port and select a bar that takes your fancy.

The 2nd floor has two further bedrooms and the second bathroom and on the 3rd floor is the roof terrace with superb views of the mountains, Eristos Bay and Megalo Horio, a traditional Greek whitewashed village built into the side of the mountain. Recently renovated two storey stone built house, 3 bedrooms, sleeps 6-8. The cottage is an old stone built house with two floors. It has recently been renovated and care has been taken to retain original features wherever possible. Downstairs consists of a comfortable living area, a dining area, a well equipped kitchen area and the bathroom. All the walls are stone and there’s a wood burning stove should it prove necessary. This area is wonderfully cool in summer and warm in winter! Upstairs, you’ll find the 3 bedrooms, all with pine floors and sloping pine timbered ceilings.
