Surrounded by enclosed yards with barbecue facilities. The villa is just about 100m from beach and all local amenities, shops, newsagents, tavernas and an organic bakery. You can buy fresh fish directly from the fishing boats early in the morning. One of the best tavernas of the island is near by. Central location for the island of Lesvos. All interesting sites on the island less than an hour driving. Fantastic warm sea ideal for children. A rich biotopos nearby for bird watching / walking or cycling.

Lesvos has virtually an inland sea called the Bay of Kalloni. It only has a very small outlet to the main sea. This makes the water very shallow and warm. Skala Kalloni is a working fishing port. The bay is fed by mineral rich streams and these minerals are reputed to give the sardines in the bay a unique flavour; delicious washed down with a glass of the local ouzo.The resort consists of a single road. The beach is extremely sandy and pleasant, ideal for children. The night life is focused mainly round the harbour with numerous tavernas and bars. During spring the area acts as a staging post for thousands of migrating birds so the village is very popular with ornithologists at this time of year. The petrified forest and it’s museum are one hour drive away. The famous medieval Molyvos is also one hour drive from Skala. These two destinations can offer excellent entertainment as a day trip.
