Travel information: From the airport of Kos by taxi (10 euros) or by bus (2 euros) to the harbour of Kos (Mastichari), about 3 km away. From there your can take every 2 hours the boat to Kalymnos (4 euros). From the harbour of Kalymnos its about 1 km (by taxi) to the hotel.

The comfortably equipped vacation house is located at the idyllic village of Nas, 2 km from the main tourist locality Armenistis. The fully equipped house has two bedrooms, one big lounge with kitchen, living- and dining area and one bathroom. There is an appropriate place until five people. From the front terrace you will have a view over the whole village, the taverns and the charming bay of Nas. From this place you can watch the beautiful sunset. At the second big terrace you will find a place in the shadow under palms and oleander.

Ikaria – a secret. A magical island to the west of Samos, still untouched from mass tourism. The pretty village of Nas is often called “small paradise”. Nas is located at the coastline from the seaport town Evdilos and the main touristic village Armenistis at the end of the asphalted road. Although, Nas has only about 50 inhabitants, you will find six taverns with excellent food and a mini market. Driving to the capital of the island, Ag. Kirikos, it will take you about 90 minutes, to the habour of Evdilos 20 minutes, the local airport of Faros is also approx. 90 min. by car. Only a few steps away from the house a picturesque river valley invites you for a walking tour. The Bay of Nas and its archeological Artemis sanctuary, which are only a few minutes away, provide a very special atmosphere. Two big sandy beaches are close to the next village Armenistis. Coming to Ikaria either by airplane from Athens (40 min.), by ferryboat from Piraeus (approx. 8 h) or by boat from Samos (2,5-3 h).

Built in 1929 and restored over the last two years to its original grandeur, the home is one of the most outstanding properties on the island. It has three floors, each providing panoramic views of Samos/Vathi town and harbour and totals 180m² of living space, with an additional 60 m² roof top. Located just metres from the central pedestrian shopping mall and the main town square, and a 20 short walk to Gaggou Beach the luxury home offers all of the convenience of town living from a secluded and quiet position. The property comprises a formal and an informal living area, separate dining room and kitchen – all as originally configured but totally updated. There are three double bedrooms, and a study/fourth bedroom. There are two bathrooms (main with large shower) as well as a toilet area on the rooftop. Easily accessible by plane and ferry – Samos sits just a kilometre or so off the coast of Turkey, the mountains across the Mykali straits providing a spectacular backdrop to most of the north eastern part of the island. The southern most of the North East Aegean Islands and just north of the Dodecanese, Samos is a great base for island hopping – although there is of course lots to do on the island itself. It was the birthplace of the mathematician Pythagoras, as well as the site of the ancient Temple of Hera. The Efpalinos Tunnel – an engineering marvel from the time of Polykrates – deserves a look. The house is metres from the ArchaeologicalMuseum in Samos (outstanding Kouros), the main village square, the port and Gaggou and Roditses beaches and close to the bus station.. Although damaged by fire, Samos is still a green island. Mountain pine forests and vineyards provide a cool green retreat on hot summer days and some outstanding hiking for those with the energy.
Fully Renovated Traditional Home: The house is a traditional up-market house, nearly 100 years old. It could not be better located for anyone interested in staying in Samos/Vathi – close to everything but in a quiet secluded area. It is made of local stone – the outer walls are 80cm thick and internal ceilings are 3.5 metres high. The renovation completed in 2008 included new plumbing, electrical re-wiring, replacement of light fittings, laying new floor coverings and installation of central heating and solar hot-water. There is a water pump that ensures good water pressure in every part of the house – including the large upstairs shower room. The original wooden windows and shutters have been repaired and repainted and the front door replaced by a hand made replica of the original. The house has been re-painted inside and out in the traditional style of the house. Facing towards the harbour, the house is always cool and receives refreshing breezes in almost all weather conditions.

Self catering villa with loads of space and privacy. This 2 storied villa built in the 1980′2 is located in a peaceful rural setting close to beaches yet still only minutes from Samos’s two main towns, Samos (Vathi) and Pythagorio. It is srurrounded by fruit and olive trees. A modern kitchen downstairs make self catering a breeze. The upstairs area also has its own fridge and tea and coffee making area. All floors are marble and each level has a lounge/dining area and a bathroom, in addition to patios with outdoor furniture for dining and relaxing. The upstairs floor is accessed via a separate stairwell – offering additional privacy making it ideal for couples sharing a holiday house or for older children. The closest beach is an easy 20 minute walk and is usually quiet, frequented mostly by locals. About 4 minutes drive away is a beach area with some large hotels offering a range of watersports and some good tavernas. A wide sandy beach ideal for young children with a number of tavernas is about 7 minutes drive away.

The villa is ideally situated in a 4000 sq metre plot located in a quiet rural area, minutes to the beach and with easy access to both Samos (the main town on the island – approx 10km away) and Pythagorio (a picturesque harbour village with lots of bars and restaurants – approx 5km away). Mycali beach – a 20 minute walk through olive groves and fields – is a beach off the tourist trail mostly used by locals. Further down Mycali Beach are a number of local restaurants and tavernas as well as a large hotel where you can hire catamarans etc. Psili Amos with its wide sandy beach ideal for young children and group of fabulous beachfront tavernas is a 5 minute drive. Mitilini, a wonderful village full of character and once the biggest on the island is a 10 minute drive. Saturday night traditional Greek dancing in the Mitilini village square is a ‘must do’. The airport is also a 10 minute drive away.
